2 Existem lugares únicos no planeta, seja por sua gente, por suas paisagens naturais e arquitetônicas ou por sua energia. Em Pedralva estes três indicadores convergem numa cidade interiorana de gente simples e acolhedora, atuante no seu resgate cultural, com uma arquitetura histórica aconchegante e uma natureza exuberante, rodeada de montanhas ideais para a prática de esportes de aventura, ecoturismo e turismo rural. 8 Na culinária destacam-se as receitas mineiras tradicionais de pousadas domiciliares, pesqueiros e restaurantes da cidade, e os sequilhos das confeitarias, além da cachaça de boa qualidade proveniente de pequenos alambiques espalhados pela zona rural do município. 9 Como principais eventos temos a tradicional Festa de São Sebastião, o padroeiro da cidade que acontece em janeiro, o Carnaval, com apresentação de banda de marchinhas num ambiente descontraído e seguro, a Festa de Santo Antônio e o Rodeio em junho e a Exposição Agropecuária em agosto, com apresentação das vivências interioranas o Pedrock em julho com apresentações de bandas de rock durante três dias, a Mostra Cultural no final do ano, com diversas apresentações de artistas Pedralvenses. 11 Nossa missão é valorizar a cultura local e promover o cooperativismo para desenvolver o turismo sustentável em Pedralva, e como visão oferecer aos turistas uma vivência cultural única, aliada as nossas riquezas naturais. O objetivo geral é organizar a estrutura turística de Pedralva com foco nos produtos culturais e naturais para atender as demandas do mercado. Our mission is to enhance the local culture and promote the cooperative to develop sustainable tourism in Pedralva, and as a vision to offer tourists a unique cultural experience, combined with our natural resources. The overall goal is to organize the structure of tourist Pedralva focusing on cultural and natural products to meet market demands.
