REGRA DE FORMAÇÃO: sujeito + had + particípio passado do verbo principal (3ª Coluna) + restante da frase. USO: é usado quando se quer expressar duas ações que ocorreram no passado, mas que na sucessão temporal quando uma delas ocorreu a outra já havia ocorrido, a primeira ação estará no Past Perfect e a segunda no Simple Past e serão ligadas por when = quando; by the time = quando; after= depois; before= antes. Obs: o auxiliar na formação de I, N e I/N é o had
Exemplo: A – She had arrived before you left. (Ela chegou antes de você partir) – correto ou (Ela tinha chegado antes que você partisse) – ao pé da letra I – Had she arrived before you left?
