Distinctive Features of SSCM
Sustainable supply chain management has to take into account a wider range of issues and, therefore, look at a longer part of the supply chain. Sustainable supply chain management deals with a wider set of performance objectives, thereby taking into account the environmental and social dimension of sustainability. There is a much increased need for cooperation among partnering companies in sustainable supply chain management.
