Paranatinga é um município brasileiro do estado de Mato Grosso. Localiza-se a uma latitude 14º25'54" sul e a uma longitude 54º03'04" oeste, estando a uma altitude de 460 metros. Sua população estimada em 2013 era de aproximadamente Habitantes. Possui uma área de ,9 km². Clima No Centro-Norte: Equatorial quente e úmido; no Centro-Sul: Tropical quente e sub-úmido. O Rio São Manoel vem a ser o formador do Rio Teles Pires, juntamente com o Paranatinga. O Rio Pacu vem a ser o formador do Rio Culuene, que por sua vez é o formador do Rio Xingu Relevo Planalto Pareci, ao sul e depressão Interplanáltica da Amazônia Meridional, ao norte.
