6 Maturidade - Exemplo 28/8/2009TIControle - SG Documentos Eletrônicos6 Level 2 (Developing): Various groups in the organization recognize the need to act on ECM and are engaged in departmental and siloed, bottom-up initiatives. The organization lacks high-level business sponsorship or major investment, the effect is tactical reactively trying to provide for content management needs. Attempts to address problems in one system or department make obvious the need for a cross-departmental approach to sharing content. This realization drives the need for a content governance framework so that different groups can discuss and agree how to move forward. The IT organization often takes the lead and struggles to get the business and managers engaged and taking responsibility. Some good work on ECM starts to occur, but it's mainly to get to a baseline level of efficiency, not optimizing the organization's effectiveness. The IT organization has started to provide the needed content management functions, improve business processes using content and assisted the integration of multiple content systems. More importantly, organizations are starting to put together the organization, structure and policies to manage the content and support this initiative. Action Item: Identify content management initiatives in the enterprise and exploit existing investments in CM. Gain sponsorship for an ECM initiative, with clear business benefits, that focuses on a specific content management technology or application.
