2 Movement To (He went to school.)
Movimento para lugares gerais ou relativos: não se usa “to” (go home; come here; go there;inside/outside;upstaisrs/downstairs; downtown; away) Também não se usa to com verbos formados com go+...ing (go swimming; go surfing; go shopping, etc...)

3 Movement Chegar num lugar: get to ou arrive in/at
Entrar: go in ; come in Entrar + transporte : get in (meios de transporte dentro dos quais não podemos andar). Get on (meios de transporte dentro dos quais podemos andar). Get out (opposite of get in) Get off (opposite of get on)

4 Place: at Prédios públicos, instituições (school, office, college, supermarket, etc) At home Eventos públicos, profissionais ou sociais (meeting, party, concert, etc.) Existe uma flexibilidade: in the office (dentro do espaço físico) x at the office (prédio, lugar geral)

5 Place: in Refere-se mais a algo dentro de um espaço maior: dentro de um prédio, uma parte da casa, uma rua, um bairro, um estado, um país, um continente, uma cidade, o mundo... Examples: We eat in the kichen. Paris is the most glamorous city in the world.

6 Place: on, at, etc... Página (on page 10)
Aparelhos: (on TV; on the screen; on the Internet; on video) *I wrote a paper on the computer. *The file is in the computer. Canto: in the corner Esquina: on the corner

The kangaroo is on the beach. Let’s spend our vacation at the beach.

9 Tempo: at, on, in At: horas, momentos e períodos festivos. At night
On: Dias e Datas In: período maior que um dia; partes do dia; in time In+period of time: dentro de um certo período

10 For / until / by For: por um período de tempo. Until: até
By: até + um prazo (by next week)
