XXVIII - The Last of the Lintons Cathy escapes and is with Edgar as he dies without changing the will that leaves his property to Cathy, and thus to her new husband Linton. XXIX - Heathcliff Triumphant Heathcliff insists that Cathy must return to her wifely duties at WH. XXX - Catherine Alone Mrs. Dean’s story ends with Linton’s death and Heathcliff’s in heritance of all of the Linton property (about 1801).
