CEIIA CEIIA – Centro para a Excelência e Inovação na Indústria Automóvel Private non-profit association, with more than 30 associated entities, including main Portuguese automotive suppliers, innovation centers and public agencies. _ Main objective To promote the competitiveness of the Portuguese automotive and aeronautical industries and improve the positioning of companies within international supply chains.

Importance of the partnership MoU CEIIA / IGD / CTAG / IPA and Portuguese universities Areas of collaboration _ Human resources capacitating education and training of human resources in the area of augmented and virtual reality. > 4 joint PhD projects and mobility of human resources between IGD and CEIIA (with PT Univs) _ Hardware and software infra-structure and development of capacities CEIIA and IGD will establish compatible platforms to support collaborative R&D in virtual reality _ Pilot project new application in the augmented and virtual reality area for advanced manufacturing: a flexible production line for a new generation sustainable vehicle (with IPA / CTAG / PT Univs)
