As last year, SOFI 2014 was jointly prepared by FAO, IFAD and WFP. Overall, the 2014 report is organized in three parts. The first part reviews undernourishment around the world. This is the main monitoring exercise, based on the estimation of the Prevalence of Undernourishment from up to (last period based on projections). This part reviews progress of countries and regions towards the 1996 WFS goal and the MDG 1 hunger target. The second part of the 2014 report uses the Suite of Indicators to monitor the different dimensions of food security. Indicators of the four dimensions, measured on a scale from 1 to 5, have been aggregated into composite indices for each dimension for the years 1994–96 and 2012–14 using weights derived from principal components analysis. The third part of the report brings the discussion at country level.

Sistemas alimentares (elementos básicos)

Sistemas alimentares modernos (impactos)
As last year, SOFI 2014 was jointly prepared by FAO, IFAD and WFP.

Mapa da fome 2015 As last year, SOFI 2014 was jointly prepared by FAO, IFAD and WFP. Overall, the 2014 report is organized in three parts. The first part reviews undernourishment around the world. (Dietas condicionadas)
Novos hábitos alimentares Envelhecimento demográfico Mobilidade social Urbanização + classe média + carne + legumes e frutas 2050 70% Fast food Pré-processada Dietas menos diversificadas +60 anos 2015 2050 11% 22% (Dietas condicionadas)
11
17
Mercados agrícolas Globalização Ineficiência dos mercados
Barreiras comerciais Rondas de Doha
18
Guerras e desastres naturais (exemplos)
Sismo no Nepal (2015) Conflito na Ucrânia (2014) Tufão Haiyan (2013) no Sudoeste Asiático Tsunami no Japão (2011) Conflito na Siria (inicio 2011) - refugiados Seca no Sahel (recorrente)
19
20
Sistemas alimentares sustentáveis
Características: Disponibilidade de alimentos Nutritivos Acessíveis Livres de contaminantes Saudáveis (pessoas/comunidades) Geradores de rendimentos Benéficos ao ambiente Fontes de dignidade para produtores e consumidores Resilientes às mudanças e choques Produção Processamento Distribuição Acesso Consumo Desperdício Recuperação Ambiente Sociedade Economia As last year, SOFI 2014 was jointly prepared by FAO, IFAD and WFP.
